Colin Lord is a cheerful Boston Communist, and Banquo White is a cranky half-Mexican with no philosophy beyond hedonism. Somehow they have become partners in crime, spreading a reign of terror and dialectical materialism across the plains of Colorado. Follow their adventures with explosives and ladies--and, possibly, men.

For the summer of 2010, Goodbye Chains will update Tuesday and Thursday with guest strips, sketch comics, and other bonuses! Please feel free to check out our somewhat infrequently-updated sister comic, Venus in Points, which is about Banquo and Colin if they were badly-drawn cartoon doggies who die a lot.
So who are we? Alice Hunt is the writer and creator of GC (and the artist for the pointy doggies). Her work can be found in several anthologies, including the Eisner-winning Comic Book Tattoo, the Eisner-nominated second volume of Image's 24seven, and an upcoming volume of Popgun. And maybe more!
And then...Tracy Williams is the current artist for GC. She's been published in a few small press anthologies in the last 5 years. Besides drawing GC, she has edited and published various fandom anthologies.
Also: Aisha Nasir drew the first 70-odd pages of GC, and though she doesn't have the time to work on the comic anymore, we miss her and hope she's doing well in her new career. Which she undoubtedly is, because she's awesome.

Now that that's out of the way, here are some comic-related resources you may find useful.
The LJ Community for GC updates, discussion, and whathaveyou. Yell at people who deserve it. Many of them probably do.
We also have a MySpace page, if you want to keep up with us that way, or there's our listing on onlinecomics.net.
If you want to follow Alice on Twitter, you can do that, you can follow Tracy's page progress at her twitter, (Heck, she could be drawing it live at her uStream channel) or you can keep up with us on Facebook too.
Don't forget the RSS and Atom feeds on the front page--if neither of those work for you, there's always Livejournal Syndication or Resplendent Beard to use instead. If you want to know exactly when updates happens, these are your best bets.
Goodbye Wiki, wherein you may learn more about the characters, or tell other people what to think of them. The wiki is password-protected, and you can get the password by checking the user info for the Livejournal community.
